The Eternal Horizon -Coffee table book

The Eternal Horizon is a poignant travelogue of a ‘twelve-hour trip’ I undertook from the pilgrim town of Rameswaram (south India) to the spectral sand strip of Dhanushkodi. The journey was, as I acknowledges in the foreword, “an enriching philosophical voyage”. The book is a photo montage of an artist’s encounter with the profound realities of life and death, of loss and faith, of devastation and religious devotion. Rameswaram, a coastal city steeped in centuries of enduring faith,  and Dhanushkodi, a waste land of sand and rubbles, left desolate by the vagaries of a wayward fate,   constitute a dialectic of geography, at once triumphant and tragic. This book is a tender act of remembrance and of self-exploration, an attempt to build a bridge across islands of lonely lives.
